Moe if you read this thanks so much for your support. Keep my number and stay in touched. Dr. Strange Thanks for everything and I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Things I learned in EDM 310

I was very pleased about everything I learned in your class Dr. Strange. I learned so much information that I did not know before. I never would have had a clue to make a trifold brochure. I will use the trifold brochure in the future. The website was a big headache but I learned so much about it. I'm really glad that I learned how to make a website, because I'm going to make one for the sports that I hopefully will coach in the future. Learning how to set up a blog was a really good experience also. I will keep my blog and use it in the future also. Dr. Strange thank you for all your help. I was really pleased to have you as my instructor. Thanks for everything.

iTunes University

Colleges are trying to figure a way for students to view audio and video content for school purposes. The iTunes University provides a "free" way to store and distributes contents for students. Instructors says that iTunes could make things easy for students to podcast and give videos that they produced. This will give the instructor the opportunity not to store and media.
The only worry that some instructors have is that some students could not afford ipods. The iTunes are trying to make it where that students will not have to have one to use. The iTunes University website and files are accessible from a Mac or PC.

Wickipedia

In this day and time I really don't think wickipedia can be trusted. As days pass more people are becoming knowledgeable about computers. The internet is becoming a big toy to people. People get on the internet and play on it for days at a time. They learn new ways to do different things with the internet. An example of this is that an anonymous Wikipedia user deleted fifteen paragraphs from an article on e-voting machine Diebold, researchers found that the anonymous left behind digital fingerprints. This left hints about the contributor. The hints lead to the location of the computer used to make the edits.
AsI read on about the articles I started thinking really hard; Wickipedia might can be trusted in the future. There are a lot of college graduates out there learning a lot more about computers now. These future students will have the knowledge to stop the ananymous Wikipedia users. An example of this is Cal Tech computation and neural systems graduate student Virgil Griffith. Virgil established a searchable database that ties organizations where those edits apparentlt originated, by cross-referencing the edits with data on who owns the associated block of internet IP addresses. In my opinion I think Wickipedia will be safe to search in the near future.

Duke University

Duke University hands out free Apple ipods to incoming freshmen. The college says that mp3 players will give the students a chance to download lesctures and books. The popular mp3 player can be used as educational purposes as well as entertainment. The school made a website that similar to the apple's itunes music site. The apple site allows students to download recorded lectures, audio books, and other content.
The ipods not only downloads lectures and class assignments, but also downloads freshman orientation material and the academic calender. School officals says that this is an experiment to see if they can motivate faculty and students to think creativly about using digital audio content. The officals hope this will advance educational goals in the same way that ipods and simialar devices have had such a big impact on music distribution.
When I become a teacher in the future I could use the ipods in the physical education field by providing my athletes an ipod to be able to view sport schedules, study plays, and view other schools records. The athletes really would like this because they could view all the other stuff and listen to music. I think the apple ipods are a good idea to use them in the education fields.

A Culture Revolution

This article that you wrote is very interesting. The article is right, more and more new inventions are being develop every minute in life. The article explained some explanations about culture revolution and the statement is right. We are leaving a culture of reading and writing. This leads us to a culture of listening and watching. In my opinion I wish i was not living in the culture of listening and watching. As growing up it was never forced to read a lot, this leads me to not liking to read. Reding is very important and we are taking it out of our students eyes and don't even realize it.
Not only did the article write about reading and writing it also described the communication culture we are living in. The communication is changing from reading, writing, and conversationg to multimedia data. This leads to Audio CDs, Laserdiscs, CD-Roms, and Game Machines.
If you want to know the truth I don't really know if I would be ready to teach in the future because of all of the new inventions. Then again it might make it easier to teach because I know a lot new inventions we have now that I did not have when I was younger. This article really extended my thinking about how I am going to teach in the future.

Newspaper Article

No I really don't agree with the Author because I think students should keep reading. Yes I am more a watcher and a listener, but I still need to read because it helps you learn more words and it betters your comprehension skills. The students might learn better by listening or watching but they can read after they learn by listening and watching. By reading it can help them learn something else that they did not learn by watching and listening.

Shift Happens

I feel by the year 2010, I will have obtained the basic skills needed for teaching to become a good teacher. However, I feel that this career is a career of lifelong learning. Just because I will have sufficient communication, teaching skills, and relationships with the children does not mean that I will be up to date with the critea to be taught. This is the reason that teaching is a lifelong learning career because the material is constantly changing.

Adding links and Pictures

First we will review the methods for creating a link. Our first link will be to The fischbowl , a blog for tchnology training used at Arapahoe High School in Littleton, CO.
